“More of a businessman’s restaurant but pleasant enough”
Hidden away on the first floor (ie, above ground floor) in a small shopping centre, this seems to be a place for business men to meet up. We came across it by chance but it was a pleasant, if pricey, meal with nice staff. They did not seem to offer beer or soft drinks and only gave us the wine list.... By the glass you get a thimbleful for GBP 6 and above but that’s to be expected in Japan. The bottles were eye-watering prices. I had the bouillabaisse which could have done with some bread; the fish had not been cooked in the liquid as it was a bit cold. My companion had the mushroom risotto which got the thumbs up. Starter and dessert were shared and were small but very good. Overall, not a romantic restaurant, more for business people but can’t really criticise it much.

“Bon Marche”
Located inside the building upstairs on the left, presenting lovely food and drinks and excellent service. Coffee is excellent. Beef buns also excellent.

“You can enjoy great seafoods”
Close to Tsukiji market, this Italian restaurant has great seafoods. We had chef’s omakase ( chef’s recommended foods) and asked to include some Fugu, ballon fish, which is popular fish in winter season in Japan. I was surprised that the fugu was better than Fugu speciality restaurant I have been be...fore. And, beef they used was Saga A5 beef, so of course, it was great. I was fully stuffed with lots of wonderful Japanese fusion Italian foods. (By the way, pasta is homemade pasta.) And, the Chef is really friendly. If you wanna eat other than sushi in Tsukiji area, then go to this Restaurant.

“Bon Marche”
Looking around Tokyo's Fish and wondering what treat- we ran across a couple who could speak Cantonese. They recommended the restaurant we were standing at. But they told us to try Bon Marche and even showed us how to get there- just around the corner. Going in blind- I wanted to try the lamb but wi...fie saus try the Beef. What a delight-best beef we have ever tasted...mmmm great melted in my mouth...

“Homemade pasta”
My son's friend who lives here recommended it. Had to wait 10 minutes for a seat as they waited to get us a table vs cramming us into the counter. Very nice set lunch with a seared ahi salad and great homemade pasta with Bolognese sauce. Only complaint was a small beer for 900 yen.
