“delicious and special”
if you want a special meal with almost 1-1 service in this amazing small restaurant then make a booking. Chef Junji Kawahara is excellent at what he does and we booked his multi course vegetarian meal. this was our last night in Japan and he made it a perfect end to the 3 week trip with the best me...al we had during the whole trip. the attention to detail is amazing and the flavours he came up with even had the non vegetarian in the group clearing their plates. one of the group has a nut allergy and that was easily accommodated! i would thoroughly recommend this place thank you

You will need have the reservation before you go to this restaurant. Chef is preparing you the best food that he will need at least 3hours. Kindly understand and make reservations before your visit. こちらのレストランにお越しの際には必ず予約がないと入れないです。でも予約をしたら都内で一番美味しい野菜の料理を堪能できますよ。

“Delicious dinner that spotlights vegetables”
If you have celiac disease / gluten allergy, eating in Japan can be really hard. Thankfully, there are restaurants like Minoya that can both cater to gluten free and serve a delicious meal. We really enjoyed our meal here and would come back next time we are in Tokyo. Definitely recommend!

“Authentic Japanese Food (Gluten Free)”
As a coeliac, it can be tricky to eat in Japan. Soy sauce seems to be in everything, and there is very little understanding of both coeliac disease and cross contamination. Minoya is an absolute gem for authentic Japanese cuisine that's gluten-free. There are two menus, Vegan and Non-Vegan and both ...can be made entirely gluten-free (or gluten-full, much to my family's relief). The food was absolutely delicious (verdict from the entire family), and it was great to be able to watch the kitchen to see how everything was made. You do need to call ahead as the restaurant is small, and I would recommend getting a Japanese speaker to make the reservation, as although the owner has a great understanding of gluten-free and coeliac disease, he doesn't speak much English, so will need to be warned beforehand of dietary requirements!
