Go!Go!CURRY! Akihabaraichigoten

I was shocked that you could get such a good japanese curry meals for superlow price. Only the dishes title is on english (on the ticket vending machine though). I would recommend this chain. I would certainly return to this chain if im in Tokyo again.

In my own opinion, I think i prefer GoGo more than CoCo, it's more crispy the tonkatsu and the curry is just more fragrant and they can let you top-up your salad for free. And we had a succulent meal for just below 2,000 yen for 2 person. 1 of my best food I had in my Japan trip this year

Gourmet! No... But delicious and shamelessly portion-sized chicken and pork katsu curry? Yep. Pay the robot on the way in, then wait as the amazing news that is katsu curry is delivered. Check out the gargantuan 2.5kg challenge for ¥2550. Finish it and go down in history on the wall.

Located near the Showa-Dori Exit of JR Akihabara Station and the South Entrance to the mammoth Yodobashi Camera store, this sister restaurant to the one on Chuo-Dori follows the same format: Counter seating, vending machine ordering, and huge portions for a decent price. It also tends to be less c...rowded as well. I ended up ordering the "Major Curry" for the special price of 1000 Yen. What I got was a large helping of white rice, 2 sliced tonkatsu filets, 2 min-sausages, 1 fried shrimp, a pile of shredded cabbage, 1 hard-boiled egg, and plenty of curry sauce. There were pitchers of ice water on each counter, so that took care of drinks. Even after working up a huge appetite prior to this by walking through the Ginza and Akihabara areas of Tokyo, this was almost too much food. Delicious as it was, next time I will order a regular-sized katsu-curry rice dish instead.

We loved Go!Go!Curry when we visited Japan. It is a vending machine restaurant so the food comes fast and it is cheap. It also tastes great! You really can't go wrong! Sometimes you may have to wait if it is busy but people eat fast and so the queue is never that long.
