“One of the best?”
Iidashoten was voted by Tabe-log as the number 1 ramen in the Kanagawa area this year (2018). As a result I had to give it a try. I had actually been recommended this place by a good cameraman earlier this year but never got around to it, as he said it’s so popular now it’s hard to get in. Had a ...free day a couple of weeks back so took the plunge and drove down to Yugawara. A modest unpretentious exterior house greeted me with lots of people milling around, got in to line...and waited....for 2 hours! But it was a superb bowl of ramen. I got the shoyu based wonton chashu ramen, a clear and super smooth broth, two types of wonton fillings and three different types of chashu; two were pork and the other chicken. Each mouthful of food was a gastronomic delight. Shop interior was also clean and impressive; a very professionally run operation. Though the location was a bit far for me, and the wait long, I was very satisfied!

“one of the best ramen store in japan”
it is definitely one of the best remen store in japan, its tsuken men put the noodles in "kombu water", and it has various way to eat the ramen (such as adding wasabi, juice and dried kombu) so i think it has a lot of fun. but...you have to realize that you gotta be very early to be there (like 7:0...0 in the morning) to get the entrance ticket (from 6:00 to 10:00, every hour will release entrance ticket), and then come back before 10:50 a.m. until the store open hour.

“Pretty interesting Ramen house in Yugawara”
After a nice onsen there is nothing better than a ramen in this place. The price is slightly higher than in other restaurants but (at least for me) it is definitely worth it. I would recommend to eat the one that costs 1400Y, because it has plenty of dumplings and meat.
