I had breakfast here 4 mornings, Western menu is limited, but so what you are in Japan and the food is great, try the miso soup. I also had 2 dinners here good variety Italian with a Japanese twist try the fried soft shell crab, and the fried risotto, wine list is extensive although the waiter could... not tell my what the wines were like

OK for lunch if you stay at the hotel and work close-by (as there are no real good Lunch places around Osaki anyways). a bit greasy. Price value alright.

Had a rushed late dinner here the evening I arrived into Tokyo and the 'Daiwa Roynet Hotel' as they were taking last orders when I arrived (at 9:30 pm) and they closed at 10:00 pm. Il Chianti offer a pretty extensive Italian menu with pasta's, pizza's, meats and cheese, etc. I choose the large por...tion of Spaghetti Bolognese which was pretty good but not good enough to get a Very Good rating, hence my Average rating on this review. Also I wanted an ice-cream to finish and despite there being 6 other people still dining they said I could not have an ice-cream as it was past last orders... How hard is it to scoop a portion of ice-cream into a bowl. Prices are average for Tokyo and I paid GB£20.89 for my Spag-Bol and one beer. The decor and ambiance is quite intimate and so could be a good place for a romantic dinner.

I was staying in the Daiwa Roynet and this was an easy location for dinner on a cold evening. Service was prompt and attentive. The menu had a good range and the serving size was ample (pasta - I chose a medium, the large must be for two!!). Good range of wine at a good price too.

We had buffet breakfast many times and is well worth the money with a local and Western spread. My wife was crazy for the IL Chanti salad dressing and had it in all her servings.
