“A Memorable Experience”
A friend recommended Kappo Suzuki, and our lunch there was a highlight of our 12-day stay in Japan. It's a cozy, calm place--it seats seven at the comfortable counter. But from this vantage point you will watch Mr. Suzuki, a humble, friendly master chef proudly prepare your multi-course meal. The... food, and the experience, were unforgettable. Chef Suzuki has earned a Michelin star every year since 2008, and it's obvious why. His Japanese cuisine with Western touches combines ingredients and flavors in unique ways. If you want to sample the subtleties of the best in Japan and are willing to splurge a bit (though Suzuki is a bargain compared to most of its peers), you can't do better.

“Great experience on traditional Japanese cuisine”
A small traditional Japanese restaurant located within 5 mins walk from Gakugei-daigaku station, has been awarded a Michelin star for more than 5 years consecutively, quality of food is to be certain, and just delicious! The humble master chef is a cuisine instructor himself, he is passionate to cre...ate new dishes with best seasonal ingredients. Went there twice, every time new experience with new tasty dishes. What's more, sake served in the restaurant went just right with all dishes. Just love this restaurant!

“Great food, great atmosphere”
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. Counter seats are great because you can see 'the master at work' and he is also quite friendly and engaging. The menu is a surprise course, but dietary requirements can be taken into account. Surprising and inventive combinations, with high quality ingredients. ...With just six seats at the counter, it was a very intimate atmosphere. At the end of the evening, the guests were pouring each other sake. This is a real gem.
