ハンバーガー🍔のボリュームがあってお腹いっぱい!おいしい! 落ち着いた店内で、それほど混雑してないからいいです。 歴史のあるバーらしく、今度は夜に来てみたいと思います。 There is a hamburger 's volume and I'm full! Delicious! It's nice because it's not so crowded in a calm shop. It seems like a historic bar, I would like to come over at night. GOOD TASTE ︎!!!

“Worst Espresso I've had in years”

Desperately sleepy after a restless night's sleep and long Kabuki matinee we relied on the 'Best Espresso in Tokyo' review, and headed to Bar Taru for a quick pick me up. I would heartily recommend that you do not waste your money if you like to drink espresso. My wife's milk based coffee was pas...sable, but my espresso started off sour and got worse from there on out. Suffice it to say, that if your palette is in good working order, and you have actually had the pleasure of carefully roasted beans (allowed to mature for just the right amount of time), ground to order, and neither over nor under extracted, with your shot being pulled on a calibrated machine, the coffee here simply will not do. Please note, this review is only for the coffee, and not a commentary on the Bar.

“BEST ESPRESSO IN TOKYO”

I used to say you can't find good coffee in Tokyo, but not any more. Skip the Starbucks and go to Taru's Cafe Il Solito. Taru is a legend in Ginza, dating back to 1953. And definitely off the beaten tourist track. While they're more known as a jazz bar, an amazing barista named Glen-O has started ...catering to us caffeine snobs with his heaven-sent skills during Cafe Il Solito time at Taru. The best cappuccino I've had anywhere. Tell him Erika sent you. I can't guarantee a discount but it's a good convo starter with one of the most interesting people in Tokyo. Don't worry he speaks both English and Japanese.
