“Real Chinese for a realistic price.”
Shisen Chubo is a relaxing Chinese restaurant located near Yokohama Station. I walked around Yokohama for around 1 hour looking for a nice place to sit down, relax, and to enjoy a meal with good value. I saw Shisen-Chubo's advertisement board on the street, pretty hard to notice as it is on the 6t...h floor of a building. The prices are what caught my eye, lunch time has under Y1000 meal sets including free drinks. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were greeted and seated at a table of our choice. The lighting was very dim and relaxing. The menu was presented to us and we were told to help ourselves to the drink bar at no cost. Ordering our meals was a challenge due to the many choices available and the great value prices. I settled for deep fried chicken on cabbage with sesame oil, this dish also included chicken soup, pickled daikon, rice, and mapo tofu. Coming to Y780. The meals were served at the same time as each-other (my big annoyance is when meals are served like 8 minutes apart from each-other). The meal was delicious, I've really got nothing bad to say about the flavor. Fresh, good to the eye and good to the stomach! I recommend this restaurant if you love Chinese but don't want to be out of pocket. Side dishes and fillers are available for around Y200+. Beers are sold for around Y270 until 6pm. Check it out!
