“Horrible experience!”
- reservation: for one reason or another they hadn't held a table for us. When showing them the confirmation e-mail they said it was just an application (then why did the e-mail say confirmation in both English and Japanese I wonder). -service : pancakes take 20(!) minutes to prepare. Orders are m...ade randomly. One dish at a time and not at once for your entire party. My girlfriend got her pancake after about 30 minutes after we were finally seated (which was 45 minutes after our reservation). Mine came 20 minutes later! I feel like the staff were inexperienced (as if they were all students and there was no one in charge / with a vision of how you should run such an establishment). - food: not worth the hype nor the wait. Yes we've had the famous Japanese fluffy pancakes but to be honest they didn't have much flavour and one was still runny inside.. My gf isn't a big eater and her pancakes (mixed fruit) didn't fill her up. I had a seasonal one (just two pancakes instead of three in the dish) and they put so much cream on top that I still feel it 3 hours later. My advice is to stay away!

“Amazing fluffy pancakes!”
Delicious! We went for lunch and they were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely amazing pancakes and speedy service ❤️

“Maybe they were having a bad night but service was a terrible”
We arrived at 6:30 PM and place was not full. No one came in after us and at 7 they put a closed sign outside Ordered promptly from the well written English menu but Oder took 40 minutes! The did bring us a small bowl of peanuts. Food was god, but worth that long a wait?

“Best pancakes in Tokyo”
Found this place while shopping in Shimokitazawa. Definitely best pancakes I have ever ate. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasty!

“Not worth the wait ”
We waited in line for around 40 mins, the waiter took our order when we were still waiting in line but when we finally got seated we waited another 35 minutes to be served. The pancakes themselves werent worth the wait..taste was overall average. The experience was definitely not worth it.
