On the 8F restaurant floor of Shinjuku Keio department store. This is kyoto cuisine so i chose a typical kyoto kaiseiki set. Good food and service as you would expect in tokyo

“Get the unagi (Japanese eel) set!”
I found this restaurant by chance. I ordered a unagi (Japanese eel) set, which comes with miso soup, tofu and vegetables and it was delicious. The restaurant serves very traditional kaiseki food and you will not get disappointed. This is one of the best unagi dishes that I have ever tried in Tokyo,

“Typical Japanese Dishes Kyoto Style”
In Shinjuku area there are too many restaurants so that it is difficult to choose.In such a case why don't you visit department stores? Keio dpt store is next to Shinjuku station, and on the 8th F you can find variety of restaurants. Minokichi is one of them. Well-known Japanese restaurant from Kyo...to. Menu changes seasonally. Spacious table setting. Taste is wonderful! Only problem is that there might be a queue to get in.
