“Great food and Beer options”
We visited this bar twice and both times the service was attentive, the beer fantastic, the food options were many and tasty food. We loved the beer options and we did go to other Kirin City places for great beer when we needed it. The atmosphere was good. Highly recommend.

“Great beer and food. Around corner from Shibuya Crossing. Friendly staff”
Wandereing around Dogenzaka and couldn't make up our mind about where to eat. Walked by Kirin City and saw the beer taps and went in. Remembered these restaurants from years back but had never been in. Beer is poured German style so takes about 7 minutes. Pour, wipe foam off, pour, wipe foam etc. ... Had the sausage platter amongst a few other things and the sausages were great. Staff very friendly and kind. Beer delicious. Will go to another branch when next see one :-)

“Nice place for dinner and drinks”
This is a cosy joint, serving Kirin beer. It's the first time I've come across frozen beer! Food is not bad. Good place to relax.

“Very good beer and food”
I just walking around and saw this place and it looked interesting as I noticed the taps are the kind you have to pump the beer out. The beer was good and surprisingly the food is really good in there. Words of advice, don’t be in a rush it takes about 5 minutes to get a beer due to their method. ... If you happen to be in the area definitely stop in.

“Good beer, food and service”
Kirin City is a chain of restaurants run by the Kirin brewery. As you’d expect the beer is very good, with a range of lagers, ales and stouts to choose from and some combinations of the beers (called half and half’s) to give you unique flavours. What’s not expected is the that food is pretty good. A...lthough it’s mostly European style food, it is well made using good ingredients. We tried a raw fish appetiser which had nice smoked fish and complimented the beers very well. We also tried a sausage platter which came with a good variety of different flavours, all of which were tasty. The service is good and the staff have a basic grasp of English. There is also an English menu available . The pricing is also very reasonable considering the quality of beer and food. The crowd is quite local, which is always a good sign, and as it’s just around the corner from Shibuya it’s a nice place to enjoy a quiet beer or two.
