“Tasty and authentic Japanese food in Tokyo”
This place was an oasis on a record breaking hot August 2023 Tokyo day. It had air conditioning, spaciously comfortable seating and friendly and patient servers. As a non speaker, they explained things well. My partner and I had two refreshing giant beers. Then, we went for the meat skewers, Japanes...e wings and bacon wrapped mushrooms. We even ordered some wings to go as they were exceptional. The food was mouth-watering and delicious, and this restaurant added to our most amazing Japanese experience.

“Izakaya experience for tourists.”
Izakaya experience with good food! Servings are plentiful and service is efficient. No waiting time to seat during lean hours of the day like after lunchtime.

“Good Causal Izakaya”
This Ueno based causal izakaya offers a little bit of everything, from BBQ to sashimi to salad dishes; along with a great selection of beer, highball (whisky mixed drinks) etc. They also have English menu, so non-Japanese speaking guests can order food with little trouble.
