“Time your visit”
We visited the same joint twice during our trip. 1st time was on a Tue before 6pm. 2nd time was around 7pm on a Friday night. 1st visit had immediate seats. 2nd visit we needed to take a queue no from a machine that was in Jap which I could punch through most of the questions except the one if I had... minors with me! Waited for 45mins before we got a small table more suited for 2 but with an additional stool provided. Food quality was better on 1st visit as they have more time to grill the meat more thoroughly. The 2nd time, some of the chicken skewers were not cooked fully, and the shio-chicken skin that was yummy on our 1st visit were a disappointment ! Good thing is that there is an English menu with same pictures as what’s on the tablet app. Once you get the hang of navigating the online order application (in jap), everything else was a Breeze!

“Definitive Japanese Yakitori experience”
This chain of restaurant/bars are the definitive yakitori experience - tiny little joints with cosy boothed seating on solid wood seats and tables, a rowdy noisy environment filled and open charcoal grille smoke, cigarette smoke, amazing food smells and air conditioning! If youre looking for cheap e...ats and drinks, a noisy night of laughs, and great food, id recommend a visit to a Torikizoku every time.
