We really enjoyed our meals here, ordering via an iPad type menu. It was fun looking through the menu/photos trying to figure out what we wanted to order. With everything priced at 289 yen you cannot go wrong. We particularly enjoyed the Daikon and Potato salads, shio style momo (chicken thigh) y...akitori, chicken sausage, chicken meatballs, yakitori don, ...Our biggest challenge was trying properly pace ourselves so that there were not too many dishes on the table at the same time where the food can get cold and trying to check out (the buttons are only in Japanese). From our experience it is best to go before 7 p.m. to avoid long waits and the cigarette smoke.

After eating sushi for a week, found ourselves craving some yakitori in Tokyo. All dishes and drinks in the store are 280Y (around $2.8USD at the time), which is cheap for Tokyo, but the prices can quickly add up. For 2pp, we spent 3600Y on 12 items - 2 drinks and 10 yakitori plates. Thoroughly en...joyed the food - standouts include perfectly grilled chicken cartillage, chicken wishbone, chicken hearts, and chicken frenum. The beef wasn't impressive. The grilled mochi was tasty, but it has to be eaten freshly hot otherwise. Enjoyed our first visit so much we went to another location (this is a franchise) in Takenotsuka. Also - all the tables here are outfitted with electric outlets to plug in your dying smartphone, so bring a cable and a wall plug to recharge :) Good food and great value for Tokyo!

The yakitori in this place is good quality, as you come to expect from even the dingiest of places in Japan, but the overall experience was average. This restaurant seems to be a franchise of sorts and they have tried to (unsuccessfully) simplify their menu to make it appeal to the masses. Like I s...aid, the quality of the yakitori was good and we tried the beef, chicken and pork (staying away from the offal options) and they were all tender. The speciality of this place is a deep fried chicken wing, what was so unexpected was that they are served ice cold. Although tasty, not my preferred way to eat a deep fried chicken wing. The staff were quite helpful (as most Japanese) and were very efficient. The smoking in restaurants is always a challenge for us to have to deal with though! They did somehow forget to deliver 2 dishes we ordered, which was fine as we were full by then, but I have no idea if we paid for them or not, as like most places, you don't get an itemised bill, just a number to pay. For a family of 5 it cost us 70,000 yen including 2 beers, a plum wine and small sake and we left full. That is good value for Tokyo (especially Shibuya) The drinks menu is vast, if you can navigate your way through it, you might find something you like, but stay away from the sake, unless of course you like bottom shelf sake. I will admit, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to eating and I do like the nicer and finer restaurants, but I can enjoy street food more at times. this restaurant however was just a bit too basic for my tastes. Remember, this is a personal opinion as I am sure for time conscious and budget conscious people, this place will serve them well.

This place is great! Everything is 280yen!! Between the 3 of us we ate a load of yakatori and had 4 beers each and the bill only came to $20aus each.. There is no English menu but everything has pictures so it makes it easy..

I am flabbergasted by the review below, it makes no sense whatsoever. Of course not everything in the menu is the one price.. BUT, a large portion of it is. Also don't come to this chain of Izakaya expecting a fancy evening of dim lit tatami rooms and paper walls... This is a young kids hangout, wi...th seriously cheap cold drinks, and very tasty and well priced Yakitori. It's loud, it's smoky, it's heaving with groups of young and old alike, partying the night away. Either starting off their night or waiting for the first train home. It's an absolute favourite of ours, the chicken breast Yakitori (quite had to get in Japan where the more rich/fatty leg meat is preferred) is super succulent and flavoursome and you get two giant skewers for the price of a singular smaller skewer you would get elsewhere. The beers are fresh, ice cold and again very cheap. Don't expect service staff to stop for a chat, they are busy getting orders in and out the kitchen in record time. We spent 5 hours drinking eating and chatting between 4 of us once and the bill came to the cost of a single appetiser at many of the fancier establishments in Town (around 4200 Yen). Head here for fantastic simple Yakitori and drinks with vibrant loud rambunctious atmosphere. DO NOT come here for a romantic dinner for 2 expecting Michelin star grub. Appreciate this place for what it is, and I guarantee it will deliver in spades.
