The menu is simple yet diverse, with all items priced at 294 yen, making it budget-friendly ...for travelers. I started with a draft beer and ordered several skewers, including juicy chicken thighs (momo) and crispy chicken skin (kawa), both grilled to perfection. The kamameshi rice dish was a highlight—it arrived steaming hot, with aromatic flavors that complemented the chicken perfectly. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, with wooden partitions providing a cozy dining experience. Despite being busy, the staff were attentive and efficient. I appreciated the lack of an appetizer fee, which made the experience feel straightforward and welcoming. The Camembert croquettes were surprisingly creamy and indulgent, while the potato salad had a Japanese twist with bonito flakes and soy sauce. Overall, Torikizoku Nakano North Exit offers great food at unbeatable prices in a relaxed setting. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic yakitori without breaking the bank!

While in Nakano last night we were taken to Torikizoku by a friend. Fantastic food. I had been really looking forward to trying really good Yakitori. I had been to several other restaurants and was pretty disappointed. The food here is fantastic. Really fresh, great flavour. Really simple and ...honest flavours. The chicken hearts were so tasty. Very tender and juicy. Cooked perfectly. All the food we tried was great. And all at 300 yen per plate. I highly recommend making your way here for great food.
