“A wonderful interpretation of the Italian cuisine”
My family of three had dinner at Ponte del Piatto recently and we were all delighted with the quality and creativity of the dishes, and service. We opted for the fixed menu that included 10 courses, plus a surprise tagliolini course. Traditional Italian flavors and dishes with clear influence from J...apanese cuisine. Not your typical Italian trattoria but a better one if you're looking for an experience, not just a meal. The presentation was impeccable, artistic in some way, and we liked the use of local ingredients as well.

“Nice food but not Italian”
The restaurant claims to be Italian and offers set menus by reservation only. Very small place (20 seats or so) and a somewhat stiff atmosphere. The food was pretty good. We had 10 courses and I liked most of them. Only one issue: None of it was Italian. Too bad, because this is what we came for. Th...e wine list features some Italian wines. But also here we struggled to find a Tempranillo or Primitivo. All in all ok, but not Italian.
