“Nice Tempura Restaurant”
This place is in Sumida City about 15 minutes ride by Taxi from Ginza. Nice small tempura restaurant with 11 seats. We had Chef choice dinner. The foods were fresh but couldn’t compare with other Tempura Restaurants in Ginza Area like Tempura Kondo.

“Fantastic tasting menu”
If you’re not in a rush and want to try some fantastic tempura then this is the place to visit. The chef uses eggless batter so the breading is quite light and less greasy than usual. The kids enjoyed the prawn sandwich and asked for seconds and thirds and more 😁 Our course consisted of Starter: ...daikon, fish eggs, clams in wrapper 1. shrimp sandwich 2. Shrimp tempura 3. Quail egg (soft boiled) 4. Onion 5. Fish (smelt fish/shishamo) 6. Shrimp 7. Lotus root 8. Shitake Mushroom 9. Shrimp 10. Ice fish (aisufisshu) 11. Mountain asparagus (udo) 12. Shrimp 13. Asparagus 14. Brocolli 15. Blow fish (fugu) 16. Beans 17. Shrimp 18. Tempura tendon We washed this all down with excellent sake he had. He prepared each serving only after you had eaten the previous one. And since we were enjoying our conversation the whole meal took around 2 1/2 to nearly 3 hours

“Friendly restaurant with tasty food worth a detour ”
We were impressed from the very beginning by the hospitality of the restaurant. It is a small place which can seat 10 at a counter while the chef cooks right in front of you: a unique experience. It is an omakase menu which goes about an hour and a half. Although they did not speak English, they tri...ed hard to explain the dishes. The ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. The menu was filling. It is I think the only or one of the few Michelin starred tempura restaurant. When we left with a taxi, they went out to say goodbye ! A unique Japanese culinary experience worth more than just a detour!

“Michelin Starred Tempura Restaurant”
Here, Hasegawa, is the Michelin Starred Tempura restaurant near the South Gate of Kinshicho station and closed on Sunday. They offer only Omakase course (chef's recommendation course) at 15000 JPY = 125 USD p.p. The capacity was 10 guests at the counter table and one table for four guests, approx. 1...0-15 guests in total, and only three persons were working including one chef. 20 Tempura and a dessert were served for two hours and they were tasty. The drink menu did not mention the prices. FYR, a bottle of white wine which we had, Chablis, cost 9000 JPY. The prices were a bit higher for this location, but this restaurant can be an option, if your budget allows, to relax with Japanese cuisine. Tempura restaurant with Michelin Star is rare.

“A Nice tempura experience.”
The Michelin starred restaurant, the tempura are fried properly, the ingredients are absolutely fresh. The owner didn't speak well English, but she tried her best to tell me what I was eating. The service was authentic. The tempura was only seasoned with salt and lemon, but with its unique texture, ...it created a complicated taste. Absolutely delicious. The price is a little bit high but definitely worth every penny
