“One of the best fruits parlor in Tokyo”
The menu, athmosphere and staff were all good and make you feel relaxed. Tea is conplementary and vary tasty. The price (not cheap but normal) and quality are as expected; if you would like to taste some Japanese sweets you can definetely make a stop here.

“Lunch at Japan famous fruits parlor”
Visited for lunch as I was attracted to have a mango curry. Actually, the curry was not what I expected. I thought mango slices were in the curry, but It was served as a spice- mashed and very small volume. The seasonal desert, peach jerry was very good.

“A Taste of Japan's Favourite Fruit Shop”
Many would know about the high value Japanese can place on fruits used as gifts. Sembikiya is famous for supplying fruits of the highest quality as gifts, with price-tags that are just as daunting. Together with the fruit shops, they also operate cafés adjoining the fruit counters that showcase thei...r fruit. We dropped in at tea time, and I ordered a dessert that looked like a zen rock garden. The sand was made of powdered sugar and black sesame, then there were "rocks" made of ice-cream, chestnuts, grapes and mochi and cake. Simply delicious and a work of art. My friend's musk melon sorbet was intensely-flavoured, and the fruit sandwich was lovely too. If perhaps a gift of fruit from Sembikiya is too extravagant, I would still recommend a visit to one of these shops to experience the high quality fruit on offer!
