We had no booking. The restaurant accommodated my daughter and myself provided we vacated in one hour as they were full and i was very keen to eat here. We sat at a sunken table. The whole restaurant was full of an office crowd, groups of 10-12 people, also couples. All having fun. The menu was in ...Japanese but using the QR code, we got the english version. I ordered roast hitachi beef and fresh salad. Actually, its not a salad... its just finely cut cabbage. The beef was super soft. Then a tempura shrimp rice ball. Very nice but the sea weed gave a fishy taste. My daughter ordered her vegetarian dishes. The dessert was creme brulee. Delicious. I only wish the dish had been deeper to give us more of the dessert! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Superb service standards.

Our hotel Mimaru Tokyo Shinjuku West recommended this restaurant to us and we are so pleased with it. As we did not book in advance, we could only sit at the counter. However, we were pleased with that because we sat in front of the kitchen watching the chef prepared the food. We had an assorted ...sashimi (5 types), assorted yakiyori, waygu beef on rice, chicken ramen, deep fried Camembert and avocado, tempura shrimp on sushi rice, apple pie with ice cream and Nagoya milk pudding. My favourite is the sashimi and chicken ramen. The price is also reasonable. All of that with a beer and ginger ale amounted to just short of 10,000 yes for 2 people. We are very happy with the authentic experience.

Such a great restaurant, fantastic decor and awesome food. They specialise in food from Nagoya including the must try Tebasaki (fried chicken wings)
