“Hard to notice, but very good”
It is pretty unpretentious from the outside, and with a narrow shop front it is easy to miss. I had passed it for years, and while I noticed it, it never struck me as a place worth visiting. I forget why we eventually did, a few years ago, but it has become our main place for Indian food in the ar...ea. Service is good and friendly, food is very good. While we have not had all the items on the menu, we have had most and certainly we have had something from every section. Nothing has disappointed. One unique dish, that is outstanding, is the "fried" dal -- all the flavor of a great dal, without the soupiness that often accompanies yellow dal. Have been going for at least three years with regularity, and in fact am going again this evening.

“great food, great service”
this was a decent indian curry house, evidently popular with local Japanese. the food was good, beautiful light nan bread with a multi-dish set menu at a reasonable price. we liked the service when we were in a hurry to get to a world cup rugby match

“Quick, good value lunch”
I needed a quick lunch before a business meeting in this neighborhood and randomly stopped in here. They had several lunch meals available; I chose the chicken sagwala. It was excellent; served with rice, nan and a small side salad. The seasonings and the amount of food were just right. I could ...relax and enjoy the meal, and yet finish within the 30 minutes I had to spare. I was very pleased and will remember this spot next time I'm in the neighborhood.
