“Very relaxing dinner”
We went to have a casual birthday dinner due to unavailability of table at our favorite restaurant. It turned out to be a good dining experience. Food is well balanced nouvelle cuisine with a bit of taste of classic french cooking. Foe gras and canal were our highlights. We ordered a most modest... bottle of wine but it also matched with the food.Service was a bit unsophisticated but young staff made genuine efforts which we appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed dinner and are fully satisfied. Lastly, the bill came to me was very reasonable. Definitely, we will come back soon.

“Below average”
Went there ro have a good steak with my family. Trust me, it is an average experience. I go out a lot and this experience was okay, nothing more. Service was quite poor and food came uncoordinated and tasted average all the way through. Would not reccomend it.

“Good ”
The lunch time starts at 11:30 and on week days, not very crowded. Lunch menu is from ¥1980- with salad buffet. To be honest, I didn't like the main dish (fish) on the day. Pasta or risotto (someone you expect the taste) is better to choose I guess. Oh, for the ¥1980 lunch, salad buffet+main of your... choice +coffee/tea are what you have. As the restaurant is 3 mins walk from JR Suidobashi east, good meet up point. Plus, it is spacious and quiet, ideal to have a professional conversation. I was not lucky about the dish, but I would recommend this restaurant as one of the decent lunch place in the central Tokyo.

“Good but expensive”
We served dinner and we ordered wagyu beef and fish. Both were tasty and we appreciate the flavor of the meal. Unfortunately the portions were very small and we regret that we didn't order Niwa menu. The price are big, one small wagyu beef is around 40€.

“Good hotel option for dinner”
We ate here as we were staying at the Hotel Niwa and found the food and service to be very good. We started with the French onion soup and scallops which were very nice and generous portions. We had mains of the Wagu beef and Veal, both were tasty and served vegetables although sparse, the Wagu beef... was very tasty but on the thin side. Total price came to ¥14000 so on the more expensive side of a hotel restaurant but still enjoyable.
