TABERNA CADIZ

At the Spanish restaurant "Taberna GADIZ ", which was built 5 minutes by foot from Funabashi station in 1984, we can enjoy real homemade Spanish cooking which uses seasonal fresh seafoods. The chef improved his skill traveling around the world, especially Spain and Tokyo's famous restaurant. I had... a dinner course with some of my flamenco club members. Also, this restaurant sometimes holds a flamenco dinner show, so if you want to see it, you should check the schedule. First, when I went into the restaurant, I felt relieved because the light was not so bright, and many objects attracted me. For example: The original wooden signboard, the windmill and Sagrada Familia's cork art. Both of them were made by owner chef. Therefore I felt it seems like I was in a foreign place! Second, the meal was very voluminous and delicious! ●Salad...plenty vegetable ●Mushroom of Segovia... served with garlic's great smell, matched very well with wine or Sangria, which is a kind of fruit wine from Spain made by the restaurant. By the way, ●Segovia is the name of a city in Spain. ●Spanish omelet... It was the best omelet which I have ever had! The egg was soft, and it contained some vegetables. ●Duck with red wine sauce ... The duck was quite mild, and the sauce was rich with many raisins. I really recommend having it if you like duck. I can not forget the taste. ●Paella...the main dish. This very famous Spanish cuisine is cooked with seafood, meat, and vegetables. It looks gorgeous, and also tasty! ●Desert...there are daily deserts. When I went, it was many fruits and chocolate cakes. We wanted to celebrate our member's pregnancy, and the staff made effort to decorate the chocolate cakes! We couldn't eat all of the meal, so the staff handed us the rest of the meal at the end with a smile! Even though this restaurant is famous, the staff was quite friendly. When one of our members lost her phone, they helped looking for it and found it! I nearly fell in love that cool women staff! There may be some strange words to your ears, but you can ask the staffs the meaning easily. I am sure that they will answer kindly. Summarizing the above, the Spanish restaurant "Taberna GADIZ" is valuable to visit. You can feel the atmosphere and tasty food of Spain easily. There is no trouble to go, except money. It is not so cheap for students, usually. I think it is suitable to go when they have a special day or in lunch time. The daily lunch costs you ¥750. Also there is a special ¥1,000 lunch. In normal daily lunch, you can choose between meat or fish dish. I am going to visit there during lunch time, too. I really recommend you to visit there, and please enjoy your meal!
