“Italian restaurant at a reasonable price range.”
Had known the presence of this restaurant, but this was my first visit. The restaurant is on the south side of JR Tsudanuma Station, less than a ten minutes' walk behind the tall buildings. Its on a back road which must have been the main road before the massive redevelopment south of the station. T...he restaurant has a terrace dining area. It was about 1:30pm, after lunch time. There was another couple waiting in front of us but it didn't take long to be shown to a table by the terrace area. The separation to the terrace area had been removed, obviously due to precautions against the coronavirus. The lunch menu ranges from less than 1,000 yen to 3,000 yen. We didn't want a full course menu and opted for the A course which consists of a salad, appetizer, pasta of your choice, dessert and a soft drink. We chose an Arabiata type tomato-based cabbage pasta and a white sauce based spaghetti with chopped swordfish and rucola. All the vegetables are from a nearby farm I'm told. The green salad was fresh but I thought the dressing could be better. The white sauce spaghetti was good but the sauce of the tomato-based pasta was too light for my taste, so that I added a lot of Parmesan cheese to make it tastier. The dessert white mousse was also average at most. Overall, reasonably priced but not that exciting.
