“Culinary transition before returning home”

We enjoyed the variety of Japanese food all our trip long and casually bumped into this crêperie on our last day while strolling in the quiet and pleasant Kagurazaka area. A perfect way to join the food dots prior to our return, the dessert pancakes we had were as good as in good places in France an...d the setting is very Brittany-like. A bit more expensive vs Jap ramen joints but worth the treat. Thanks to our host native from Quebec, a very friendly and greedy pause.

“Birthday Treat!”

My family and I went there for a birthday dinner. La Bretagne Creperie has a warmish charm which made us feel nice and cozy. It was busy and active, but the noise level was within limits. We drank a bottle of delicious sparkling cider which was magnifique according to my daughter...we all agreed, We... began with a swordfish salad split among four. It was fresh and tasty. The galettes' taste reminded us of soba noodles because of the buckwheat flour. They were well done and fairly large, but a bit expensive. The sweet crepes are all you would expect. Both sweet and savory offer a wide variety of choices. For a somewhat unique and special night out in Tokyo, it's highly recommended. Making a reservation is probably necessary.

“Fantastic dessert crêpe. Savory…”

I make a very galette myself. Before we entered, my wife said we shouldn’t go eat things that I make well at home. She was right. The savory crepes are a little thick, and a little hard. Egg yolk a little bit overcooked. The neighbor had a salmon and endive crêpe that looked fantastic. Much better ...than what I had. The dessert crêpe with rhubarb and ice cream really was fantastic. The crêpe itself was more well-crafted than the savory version. Service was fantastic. Lovely people.

Britany culture is in Tokyo. Situated in a small street the restaurant is accessible from the exit B3 of the subway. Basically the crepes and other specialities are good. I can just say that it is a bit pricey of you consider quantity and quality but service is really good. You’ll be welcomed by jap...aneses, french waitresses and one great “serveur” from Quebec^^ ! Tokyo good table.

Great selection of savory and dessert crepes. Quite small and usually a line outside but worth the wait. Not a slow meal place but yumminess makes up for it.
