Dubarry

I visited this restaurant last night with my wife and was very pleased I did. It's close to the main road but far enough away that you would not realise. The dining room is very comfortable, well lit and tastefully decorated in neutral colours. There are probably 20 to 30 seats so it retains a cozy ...atmosphere. The menu is simple with 4 set course options. We chose the cheapest option at just under 4,000 yen which was more than enough food. One thing was that the menu and half the wine list was only in Japanese so it could be a struggle if you don't understand Japanese or don't go with a Japanese speaker. We had 3 course and 3 small dishes interspersed throughout the menu which was a nice touch. The pickled endive was delicious, and the cherry tart at the end was also wonderful. Throughout the meal, all the dishes we extremely well executed and well timed. Wine service and selection was also very good. Very happy and very full at the end despite only having the smallest course.
