“Delicious eel”
Michelin bib gourmand eel. It's a tiny place, with only 4 tables. The food and service were excellent. Get the eel bone chips and eel soup - the clear broth will cleanse your soul and the chips were fun and delicious to munch on while waiting for our eel. The food was surprisingly very affordable ...(eel is pretty expensive in Tokyo) We got here Sunday at 10 AM to avoid the line, but there was absolutely no line. We were the first customers at 11 AM. We walked around the quiet neighborhood and discovered a very delicious donut shop the next alley over called haritts. Go there after the eel - you won't regret it!

“bib gourmand Japanese eel specialty store”
I found this restaurant on the Michelin Guide's Bib Gullman page. It was a small shop on the back street of Yoyogi Uehara Station, and where there were four tables inside. In the kitchen the chef took out the raw eel from Tupperware. He steamed and grilled the eel after we ordered. So it took twenty... minutes for eels to be served. Eel was soft and rich in flavor, and it was very good taste with steamed rice. His cuisine was cooked carefully and it's great taste.
