“Good izakaya dining space in Zushi”
Went there for a gathering. Meat platter and sashimi platter were good choice. Volume and quality were better than expectations for the prices. Sautéed vegetables were also wonderful. They are focused on using vegetables produced locally. One thing I wished was to have a bottle shochu as all of the ...drinks were served on a glass; overall, they should deserve a good rating.

“The best meal on our trip!!”
We were looking for a place for lunch near the train station and ventured up the elevator several floors- I think 5-in this building on the train station square. ( In Japan, you have to look up off the ground floor to see all the restaurants that are in the buildings), and It was the best meal we h...ad in Japan. We all ordered something different and everyone's was great. It was hard to decide which one was best sampling each other's food. The food was superb and the owner/chef and his family were all there, welcoming us and being very gracious and lovely. Not a tourist spot, which was a good thing. The owner is a surfer turned chef. His wife and family work there, so it's a truly family-run business. We waved good-bye to them, and they to us as we walked to the train station. A wonderful experience. I would go back to Zushi just for this restaurant.
