“Michelin 3 Star with a discount!”

Reviewed 10/Nov/2024

We were excited to visit L'Osier after great recommendations from friends. With the USD-JPY exchange rate, we were looking forward to a signature Michelin service at a great rate. Ultimately, the food was great. We loved the pigeon dish which was prepared just right. Unfortunately, the disappointing... part is their service which was not what we want to get a discount on! Our main course came so late that they had to apologize. What broke the camel's back for us was that our server had a cold. She sniffed multiple times while interacting with us and were handling our dishes as well. Her face and nose were red. We could not believe this. We would not have minded so much if she was wearing masks, given that we are all used to this after the pandemic. If there was any Michelin inspector that day, I think their 3 star would be gone.

“Great french food for special occasions.”

Love the food, love the space, the service was great everything was great. The chef speaks perfect Japanese and English and was very friendly. The dishes were beautifully crafted and well thought through. There were ample food and we enjoyed almost every dish. It’s on the high price and it seems... like everyone came for a special occasion. Jacket for men is a must though. Diners were all nicely dressed so please be respectful of the location.

“So impressed”

This was a very special visit for us cuz it was our very first overseas fine dining experience since covid. I was over the moon when they called and told me I made it on the waitlist a week before my birthday. I called to book 2 months in advance and it was already fully booked and after my visit I ...totally get why. Loiser is own by shiseido and has been around since 1973 and it’d be their 50th anniversary this year. Upon arrival we were greeted by the most friendly staff and the whole dining experience was just 10/10! They were very aware of my food allergies and Sachiko really took the best care of us while we were there. Every dishes were being explained very clearly and she was always looking out for us to see if we needed anything. Thank you Sachiko for being so kind and caring. We got to meet Chef Olivier and I must say the cuisine really reflected his personality, very gentle and mellow. Everything was perfectly seasoned without being too salty or greasy. We could tell they were using the finest Japanese ingredients they could find. Everything we picked on the dessert trolly was so good which rarely happens. We can tell chef Olivier and his team have put a lot of effort into running this restaurant. Thank you everyone for the hard work I had an amazing birthday there that day :)

“Comprehensively Aesthetic & Delectable Fine Dining Experience”

L’Osier is a famous fine dining restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo. The restaurant building is as grand and classy as a 6-star hotel, while the artistic décor resembles the interior of a museum. The high ceiling, spiral stairs, and arts displayed are all beautiful and impressive. Service is exceptional! ... The French cuisine is exquisite in the choice of ingredients, aesthetic presentation, and deliciousness of the dishes. Absolutely love the vibrant and savory “Citrus Island with Citrus Sauce & Orange Crispy with Orange Cream Cigarette”! It is a comprehensive and memorable fine dining experience!
