“Great teppan and beer what more could you want?”
If you want to get away from the crowds near the famous tower of kawagoe, this is great little place. It’s on the second floor of an old shop house style building so it’s nicely hidden away. The food was great and it was matched by the beer, which they had a great selection in bottles, but also on t...ap. The dark fraught beer we tried, shiki, was delicious and perfectly complimented the meat we had. We tried both the sirloin steak set, which came with rice and miso soup and the mince steak on a bed of salad and rice, topped with a runny egg and Parmesan cheese. Both dishes were tasty and the meat we had was really of a great quality, tender and juicy and full of flavour. All in all, we had a lovely meal, the service was very friendly and even though they didn’t speak a lot of English they had an English menu and tried to accommodate us. A great little find if you fancy a quiet drink and good quality meat.

“Special place to visit”
This was one of our best lunches in Japan over 3 weeks period. We found this by chance as most other places were closed on this day and we had a fabulous lunch. The detailed fish dish (entree and the main) were stunning with a bed of pumpkin and basil sauces. Couple of beef dishes were amazingly fr...esh and tasty. Restaurant has a huge selection of beers to choose from. What I loved is that the chef personally came very and described the dishes in English for us. Such a small thing to do and yet made you feel very special and made the lunch so enjoyable. If you're around, please make it a treat and visit this place.
