“A delicious truly Japanese treat”
Was here on the last part of our stay in Tokyo. The pancakes were light and fluffy - mine has cream cheese, berry sauce, and whipped cream. Super delicious the pancakes were and something that can eaten any time of day! Would recommend A Happy Pancake for anyone wanting to eat something truly tasty... quintessential Japanese treat.

“Different kind of pancakes”
Our travel group went there. Since we had an event afterwards we got to the restaurant 1 hour before opening at 11 AM to get our names on the list. Fortunately, once we were seated, the food came fairly quickly. The pancakes were nothing like what I was used to. They were thick and fluffy. The t...aste was very eggy which some of our party did not enjoy.

“Good option. Could be more flexible”
A good option if you’re in the area. Servings are BIG! It’s small, so expect to wait in peak periods. Scored it low because the menu was a little inflexible. Only certain combinations of sauce available with certain options. I found this frustrating given the sauce comes separately anyway.

“The Best Pancakes I’ve Ever Had”
There are no words — these were hands down the best pancakes I’ve ever had. I’ve been searching for something to match the incredible brunch pancakes I had in Bali, and A Happy Pancake finally delivered. We ordered the brown sugar boba pancakes, and they were unbelievably soft — almost like eating ...air — yet packed with flavour. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, and pairing it with a cup of coffee brought everything together like a well-composed dish. The only challenge was finding the place — you need to go to the corner of the street and take the elevator up inside the building. But once you’re there, it’s more than worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back — these pancakes are truly unforgettable.

“Super tasty”
The best pancakes of my life. We got there at a good time, there was no rush and we got our order quickly. I had pancakes with chocolate sauce and granola. My husband had traditional pancakes with cream cheese mousse and maple syrup. Without Google Maps, the restaurant would have been a bit diffic...ult to find. It is located on the upper floors of a building on the corner of the street. The service was friendly and efficient. A fun detail of the restaurant was the location of the toilet behind the bookshelf wall. The so-called secret door.
