“Great way to end a day in Kamakura”
Based on the very good reviews I had read, I decided to come here for dinner. It is a simple but authentic place. Food is delicious, ingredients are fresh, location is opposite the beach.

“Small portions? Okay taste”
The vegetable curry tasted okay but the portions are so small! I couldn’t recommend due to this. Also a bit pricey! Good views and the service was nice. Curry and extras came at different times.

“best food in Kamakura”
each time I went, Shingo prepares what he has for you after speaking about what you like. for me he nailed it both times with homemade dishes I barely have words for. Also the view , you cant beat the vibes in there. <3 cant wait until next visit.

“Vegetarian curry had a rogue fish in it ”
The place is decorated really lovely and the waiters were really nice. I’m a vegetarian so have struggled in Tokyo but saw on Trip Advisor this place was recommended. So I went with my friends and they ordered their fish/meat dish and I ordered the vegetable curry. The curry was fine, until when I w...as eating the last of the rice and I noticed something white and strange looking. At first I thought it was rice but it resembled the tiny fish my friend was eating. It had two black dots at either side. Yes. There was fish at the bottom (and potentially inside) my meal. When I told the waiter he laughed and didn’t seem that concerned until he saw how upset I was. He offered me a free vegan cake (which I declined - how do I know it’s really vegan now?) and they didn’t charge me for the meal but it wasn’t enough. We only went there for the vegetarian meal so we could eat together and I’m so upset that I ate fish unknowingly. I think if you’re going to advertise vegetarian meals you need to make sure you aren’t cross contaminating the foods. Essentially, if you’re a vegetarian I’d avoid as it seems they mix everything together anyway. I’m deeply upset and it’s made me really wary of anything I eat in Tokyo now.
