“This is what the culinary experience in Japan is about”
When you are in Japan, you can experience places like this. Where a chef that has dedicated years honing his craft is there, sharing his work with you. Everything is home made, even the bread. They start you off with a plate full of different signature tapas style samples that are mouth watering. Th...en you can enjoy any of the amazing curries that he has styled. It's just an experience I only enjoy in very few places anymore. Highly recommend this place specially after visiting the Tokyo Sky Tree, was within walking distance in a quiet neighborhood.

“A real gem”
What a surprise in a small neighbourhood near Skytree tower. Japanese chef inspired by south India where he's going to yearly. Family run restaurant with a simple menu and a fantastic curry. Heartly atmosphere. Try the desserts, too.
“Chef traveled the world and was inspired by spices”
This hidden restaurant is a true gem. The chef spent 3 years traveling the world and eating in 48 countries. He decided to create a restaurant focusing on spices, and renovated an old apartment in order to do so. One would expect only curry at this joint, but will be surprised to get a variety of ap...petizers mixing Japanese and foreign flavors, handmade bread and sausage, and various curries. The wine selection is decent as well. One must have reservations since this is a small and hidden place, but it is well worth it. If you cannot read Japanese, just put blind faith in the waiter, and select a course. You will not be disappointed.
