What a great find on a rainy day - a dog friendly cafe with delicious lunch sets, ambient space and good sounds. Nice variety of dishes to choose from and the staff are welcoming. Fabulous value set, includes small fresh salad and hot soup, main and drinks. Looks like a great place to hang out for d...inner also.

“Stopped in to eat....OMG”

I stopped in to eat here with a friend as we were both starving. This was honestly the best Italian food I think I have ever eaten. I think I had a salad but really don't remember because the Sundried Tomato and olive pizza made by tastebuds die and go to heaven. Great ambiance and nice soothing jaz...z music make this a great date or unwind restaurant.

“A hidden gem in Shibuya”

This marks my third visit to Grandma's Georges, a restaurant that is specialized in Parisian family cuisine. Grandma's Georges is like a hidden gem, situated at Keon Dori en route to NHK Broadcasting Center. I can't say the foods at GG are "wow", but they serve comfort foods that would warm my heart.... Most of the French restaurants in Tokyo would have combined with the local Japanese flavor, but GG serves traditional French family cuisine that I would find the taste seem so familiar to me. For a standard set lunch serves with a cup of coffee or tea is about JPN1,100-1,300 (including taxes).

“Afternoon Delight !”

Hot and humid and tired legs ... Popped down the 2 or 3 flights of stairs to a room full of folks indulging in cool beverages and yummy desserts. 1 apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream, 1 white peach tart with sorbet and 2 iced teas while we reenergised. Frantic on the street, but relaxed in this a...tmospheric subterranean space. Happy staff. Chatty crowd in no hurry. Enjoyable.

Was feeling hungry in Tokyo one evening and the Jazz playing at the entrance of this restaurant drew me in. Nice atmosphere and they have an English menu if you struggle with the Japanese. Main meals include fragrant fried chicken, spicy beef stew and honey spare ribs. Service was a bit slow and the... beef stew I ordered was tasty but would not feed an infant (and the beef in the stew was pretty scant). There are so many other better eateries in this area. Skip this one and get a decent meal somewhere else.
