“A long-established taste founded in 1955.”
Medium thick, solid straight noodles and pork bone chicken white water. Exquisite harmony of garlic oil. Uses AKOU (Japanese sea fig) salt for health and has not changed since its founding. Homemade speciality grilled, seasoned egg and bamboo shoots. Topped with seaweed and scallion. Talking about t...hick meat (TARO)… It is easy to say that it is a pork belly cut. But actually, it has a deeper meaning at all. At first, we take the time slowly to remove the slum, and the carefully selected ingredients and natural flavours created by research create a mellow and exquisite flavour on the tongue, so please try a unique taste different from grilled pork. As an aside, the name “Taro” doesn’t exist in Chinese cuisine. In 1668, the menu was developed in Tokyo to suit KEIKA Ramen, and the founder named it after seeing the finished shape. Since then, it has gained enormous popularity, with many imitations appearing on the market. Today, the thick meat (TARO)is a registered trademark of KEIKA.

“Run of the mill ramen place”
In fairness wish I could give 3.5 stars. It’s a decent ramen place though nothing to write home about. Did I regret going there? No. Would I go again? Would probably try something different, especially with so many options around.

“Average Ramen”
2 floor ramen restaurant in Shibuya area. Staff was friendly and helpful as the ticket machine did not have English on it. Service was fast and efficient. Ramen is average tasting. There are so many amazing ramen places in Tokyo so the standard is high.
