Sansuitei

A traditionally styled Japanese restaurant with service and style to impress. Set just off one of the main thoroughfares in Tsukuba City, you could easily miss this restaurant and certainly in the dark and rainy evening when we arrived, it looked quite unassuming from the outside. But once inside, ...we knew we were in for a special evening. We were a large business group so this review reflects this and may not be reflective of family dining. Traditional setting, service and food. There are English translations available and the staff can understand you but you may struggle a little. The food was first class and the experience overall just fantastic. I would say, perhaps not the 100% authentic Japanese experience, but dialled down a little ( you don't need to sit cross legged for example, there are footwells to make things more comfy), but a solid 95% authentic for me and our group. A great visit and excellent restaurant.
