Save your money to elsewhere! Even Genki Sushi Bar serves much better fresh sushi than Sushi Tatsu (すし龍). I’ve been there for lunch with friends in early Jan 2023, a very BAD experiences: 1. Nobody was greeting us at reception, leaving us standing there for 5-10mins to be seated; but then we realize...d the restaurant was empty, only 1 table was occupied 2. I said face to face to The Chef a warm “こんにちは” (means good afternoon), he totally ignored me 3. 2 of us ordered Omakasei menu (@ JPY 11,000) & 1 ordered basic sushi lunch set (@ JPY 3,300); ended up the two menus were almost the same 4. Sushi were NOT fresh, few pieces were very salty because they over-preserved fishes for few days 5. Even gingers served together with Sushi Dried-out 6. Chef has never asked us on food allergies but was me to tell him upfront; that’s very unprofessional 7. Chef even mixed up sushi sequences between Omakasei and basic sushi lunch sets, again professional won’t admit this mistakes 8. They’ve never cleaned up your table but leaving finished plates all over the bench; a decent restaurant won’t do this 9. We ordered a bottle of Sake, waitress came & put down two “stacked” sake cup; no intention of serving sake as well 10. They’re dishonest on billing, they charged 10% service charge on “Omakase” menu without informing us upfront. However, no such a service charge on ordering JPY 3,300 basic sushi lunch set. Anyways, I visit Japan 3-4 times annually, trying Sushi from different restaurants & Sushi bar; Sushi Tatsu (すし龍) is the worst even.
