“Excellent tempura omakase!”
Isshin Kaneko serves tempura omakase-style. Run by a friendly couple, the food is excellent and presented with great artistry. Somewhat off the beaten track for most tourists but worth the visit!

“Exceptional Tempura in Very Friendly Upscale Atmosphere”
We arrived on a very rainy night to this welcoming temple of tempura. We were seated at the bar and ordered the multi-course very affordable tempura meal which was nothing short of perfection. The shrimp were fried to perfection as were all of the various vegetables and fish and a baby lobster ser...ved personally by the chef. The shrimp kakiage wonderful too! Everyone was also very friendly including the other diners. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Tokyo wanting tempura and will return.
