“Wish I could be a regular”
I've put off trying omurice until I could get the authentic stuff in Japan and was not disappointed! I've never had such delicious comfort food outside of the USA. Staff was courteous and service was quick. The restaurant is an unassuming yet comfortable diner'esque room. Would definitely be a regul...ar here if ever given the opportunity!

“I am the egg man!!”
I have a friend at Cornell who took a class about the Beatles and we were talking about the initials to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and how The Beatles did a ton of it!! I happen to enjoy them a lot and I know that they are all long past their wild days of mind expansion!! Why I mention them is th...e title of my review in the Walrus song!! I went here for lunch and got omurice which is very fancy and I saw videos of it!! I got shrimp fried rice with the omelette and it was very light and way less heavy than ramen!! It was very very good and the food is all cheap in Japan!!

“Comfortable restaurant with delicious food!”
A very good restaurant in the basement, with a classical European ambience, romantic jazz piano music in the background, very comfortable and spacious, food was delicious, especially the butter / garlic / cheese buns, really delicious!

“Japanese style omurice”
Found this on recommendation and it is worth a visit. Bread is good as suggested. There are a take away pack to enjoy at home as well. The omurice is good quality and the service is superfast.

“Awesome”
Lactose intolerant peeps stay away!! Or take pills. Pretty much everything we ate was RICH with cream. Corn Soup came with the meal. It was very flavorful. Beef/mushroom stew Omurice. Was like a super amazing beef stroganoff on a iron skillet. Curry chicken omurice. The highlight of this dish wa...s the bread. It was a warm, moist, buttery explosion. Everytime you bit into it butter would ooze from the center into your mouth. Pretty awesome. For dessert we ordered the Fruits and Rakeru brulee Sundae. I recommend it of you're into Leche Flan. It's 4 layers of insanity. Graham cracker, ice cream, flan, whip cream. Definitely worth a shot. Everything was so rich and creamy there was absolutely no escape.
