“Classy and tasty place”

My business partner in Tokyo took me to this hidden place located in historical Tsukiji area. We had 8 course meal (dinner) and every dish were just high standard ones. This restaurant is specialized in "Fugu"(blow fish) but other dishes were great too. Highly recommend for any occasions, both famil...y and business. Our menu was ¥14,000 per person. Not cheap but it was worth it 추키지 시장 근처에 있는 숨은 맛집. 8코스에 14,000엔 짜리 정식을 먹었는데 복어 전문점이라지만 구이, 찜 등등 하나하나 아주 맛있네요 수준이 일본 최고의 washoku 식당중 하나인 Waketokuyama 와 비교해도 손색이 없겠어요 아주 강추입니다

Both my friend and I have very high standards when it comes to service and restaurant quality. When we booked our reservation at Wanōfu we were keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that trying blowfish for the first time would not be our last. To our surprise it was the most amazing and one-of-a-k...ind experience around. When we arrived to the location it was a little difficult to find and down an alley; lit by a single red lantern so you can understand why we were skeptical. Once we opened the door we were greeted, BY NAME, and then shown to our private room to begin our 5-course dining experience. The daughter, our host, was absolutely charming and spoke amazing English. The father, the executive chef, was also engaging and very courteous. They took photos with us, laughed with us and naturally we're amazing hosts! The food- I cannot do justice to the food we ate with mere words! It was divine. Not only did we try blowfish (fugu) but we tried every edible part of that fish, and it was prepared in several different ways. We even were able to taste different kinds of amazing sake. If you are going to Tokyo this is a MUST DO! Price- ¥10,000 + ¥2,500(bottle of sale) Absolutely worth the price!
