Hayashi

We had a lovely experience at this restaurant tonight. The chef is a master of tempura. We asked for mostly vegetables and received an amazing selection of treats. There are only two staff, the chef and the woman who does everything else. She has a bit of English (we have NO Japanese) and she was so... kind and helpful to us. The dinner was a set menu so we had all kinds of little treats as well as the tempera. They have four kinds of salt to use on the tempura and I found myself liking the matcha salt, even though I am not a matcha fan!
