“A hidden gem on the mountain”
We have been recommended to try this soba restaurant by staff at Hyatt Regency Hakone, A restaurant filled with mosaic display and little ceramic figurines with nice view of the mountain. The restaurant does not have English menu, but the server, we think is the son of the owner can speak a little ...English to help us order the most popular dish, there is bench, tables and chairs outside the restaurant where one can relax and enjoy the view.

“Quirky cute!”
A must stop for lunch when visiting Hakone. We had excellent Soba , cold and hot, after a morning at the Okada Museum of art! Well worth the trip, food delicious, better yet was the artful objects that trade handcrafted from broken pottery, beads, stones, old toys, cups and silverware, salvaged wood......! a joy to the child in you!
