“New location, new style, yet still excellent.”
I had been to their old location in Sangenjaya a while back, and enjoyed my experience then a lot. They now moved to another location, not too far from the old one. The style has kind of changed to a chef's recommend course (omakase) only, but they still do a la carte if you ask. I had the 9600 ye...n course, with a 3 glass pairing course (which I changed to a 5 glass course later haha) and was completely surprised by the quality of the food, service, and ideas behind it all! They also made sure to check my temperature and everyone was wearing masks at all times. Can't wait to go again!

“Great wine selection”
Order a bunch of dishes and share. Make a reservation as it's always full when we go. Wine selection is good.

“Not the same, but still excellent.”
I was prepared to be disappointed. My now-husband and I used to go to this restaurant almost every week in the late 80's and early 90's, and we were happy to find out it was still there. But of course the chef, staff and menu are very different from what we remember, and our old favorite items are n...ow history. However, I tried to be open-minded, and we all loved the homemade bread and pasta. We had a really wonderful meal, and we would make the trip to go there again someday.
