I visited this restaurant for lunch. Here, you can enjoy soup curry filled with large chunks of vegetables. The restaurant uses a system where you place your order via a tablet on the table, which also has an option for English display. The curry is relatively mild in sweetness, but you can choose y...our preferred level of spiciness when ordering. I opted for a slightly spicier version, but even then, I found the spice level a bit lacking for my taste. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, compared to many modern restaurants, the payment options seemed limited, so I paid in cash.

After a recent trip to Hokkaido where i tried soup curry the first time, i became interested in this dish and am visiting all the places in Tokyo. Thus, I was curious about Rojiura. The place was crowded, even past 1pm. The dining room is cozy but with poor sound insulation; the level of noise made... it uncomfortable. The soup was thicker than expected and not as mind-blowing as other i tried before; but still very satisfying. What was interesting was the very large choice of ingredients you could choose. Also written on the wall were the vegetables added to the bowl. They were all beautifuly presented and even better cooked; gobo was crunchy and melting, the bacon fatty & smoky; delicious! At more than 1600Yen for a bowl, it isn t cheap for a single dish. But the portion was large and I left satiated and happy. Recommended..
