“Wonderful small teppanyaki restauarant”
We were looking for a teppanyaki restaurant in Asakusa (near Kaminarimon) and this had some good reviews. It only seated 20 and we needed a booking to get in. The staff were very friendly and we greatly enjoyed our meal and French red wine. Highly recommended and the patrons were just about all loca...ls.

“Great quality teppanyaki place in asakusa”
Recommended by our tour guide as a great teppanyaki place and didn’t disappoint. Service was excellent and the staff spoke english enough. There was a problem with my reservation (my fault) and they went out of their way to accommodate us. And yes, you need to make a reservation in advance, in a jap...anese website, use google translate and should be fine. We had a lobster and wagyu beef set menu (you get rump stake by default and pay extra to upgrade to sirloin or chateaubriand), including starters. The food was great, tasty, well prepared and presented. A great experience overall.

“Sober Tappenyaki”
Great ambiance. Small and cozy place. Service personalized. For the service and food price is right. The main dishes , the lobster and the wagyu meat with beautiful presentation and melting flavor. The cooking very professional without any of the show of popular Tappenyaki restaurants. Great experie...nce.

“Incredible knife skills .. then there was the food ..”
Some teppanyaki restaurants huff and puff with dazzling flames etc.. It’s quite rare to see a chef show such knife skills without the hoo ha. We just ordered steak and vegetables pretty much but the time and attention to details was astounding.. From the delicately balanced pile of pickles and veget...ables it felt wrong to eat it .. Headed for the Art Gallery more like . The Wagu beef was insane to a point where you felt the buttery taste outweighed the taste of the meat..It didn’t of course. The chef apologised for not spending more time to speak to us .. He didn’t need to .. His food was more than enough. What’s more with two drinks each the whole meal came to 66.00 GBP .. An absolute bargain. You must track this place down . You get there via a lift.. 3rd or 4 th floor . It’s just superb . Highly recommended. Enjoy !
