“What makes this restaurant worth to recommend?”
Ordered Chicken Dango and Yakitori rice. Waited 40mins and get a bowl of yakitori rice that chicken was partly charred. The waiter just throws the bowl on my table without words. And finally charged me extra money for the pre-meal salad which usually is free at the most restaurant(I didn't order it...!).

“Art of Yakitori: You. Must. Try. This.”
This place has been popular among the locals, but now that it has been featured in a TV show, their popularity is through the roof (thus, I strongly recommend that you make a reservation, especially during the weekends). Because of their current popularity, they're limiting the amount of time you ca...n stay (about 90-100 minutes) so that they can cater to as many guests as possible. You may also feel like their service is relatively slow; this is partly because of the fact that the place is absolutely packed, but also because of the way the master chef serves your yakitori. If you're not the most patient person on the planet, I'd recommend that you order pretty much everything you want to order upfront, but still expect that your yakitori will be served one or two skewers at a time (because the chef wants your yakitori to be in the best condition for you to enjoy). Their Yakitori is as authentic and as artistic as it can get. The master chef is a really nice guy who is willing to explain how he prepares each skewer of yakitori. You may want to sit at the counter close to the grill if you want to see him cook your yakitori. His attention to details - from the ingredients themselves to the type of wood he uses to grill them to changing the size of each piece of meat on a skewer according to the temperature variation on the grill - is just unbelievable. I was born and grew up in Tokyo and had countless yakitori in my life, and I can say with absolute confidence that this is the best yakitori I've had in a really long time.

“Best yakitori in Shinjuku (near Waseda University)”
Authentic yakitori - great prices, nicely priced drinks, friendly service!! My wife and I were invited here by a Waseda University graduate who helped by ordering most of the dishes for us...and, wow, the chicken was tender, oishii-licious, and worth every ¥en!!! I would recommend even tourists to ...visit as the staff is quite willing to work with you on making your visit pleasant. It's obviously a favorite with the locals as it was a full house the entire couple of hours we sat there, ordering skewer after skewer of goodness! And the beer is at a user-friendly price, to boot! HIGHLY recommended!!
