“Good meat dishes, including wild games”
Listed in Michelin's Bib Gourmand list, this bistro offers a small but carefully selected menu, and I give a credit to a place like this, as they are more likely to serve fresh foods. Meat dishes were cooked properly, pink inside, tender and juicy, with classic sauce. A set menu is more reasonable... than a la carte, and you get two appetizers, fish, meat, and dessert at 5,000 yen (+ tax and cover charge of 500 yen). They also had a set menu of one appetizer, one main course, and a dessert at 2,500 yen (+ tax and cover charge), only from 16:00-17:30 on weekdays. Although the restaurant is located slightly far from the station, they offer you a taxi ride on a rainy day. You take a taxi from Kokuritsu Kyogijo (Oedo line) or Sendagaya (JR) station and present a receipt, and they give you back the double amount.

“Great neighborhood French bistro”
Visited Bistro Tiroir in May 2018 for dinner. This restaurant is listed in 2018 Michelin Tokyo guide. It’s a small bistro, probably max 20 guests or so. They only had one server when we visited. So the service could be slow if crowded. Luckily it wasn’t crowded when we arrived, and we enjoyed g...ood food, wine, atmosphere, and service. About 10 min walk from the nearby subway station.
