“Amazing Experience”

My family and I were going out for our last night in Tokyo and stumbled across this charming restaurant serving only shellfish. The chef was wonderful to us, explaining he didn't speak much English and we explained we spoke no Japanese! Our group ranged from a frequent world traveler to our eleven ...year old son. The food was an adventure as we started with a variety of raw shellfish, and moved to steamed options. The delightful chef even prepared a delicious sauteed pork vegetables and rice for our less adventurous daughter. I know little about sake, but the selection seemed top-notch. Anyone looking for a culinary adventure please try Akoya--it was one of the highlights of our trip.
