My first time savouring italian cuisine in Japan, and it was joy to the palate! Food was spectacular, really loved the presentation especially the glass plates, which really turned the food into art pieces. Starting off with the cheesy crochettina complemented with smoky deer ham & moving on to th...e fettine of suckling calf with cheese, the savoury starters were extraordinary with escalating complexity of flavours. The charcoal grilled eel was so fluffy and held in the charred flavour. Traditionally being a classical japanese dish, the chef creatively gave it a twist by pairing with potato crema and beef frites, turning into a lighter dish with italian touch. The umami from the hair crab embued into the tagliolini, and the creaminess from the ravioli paired with classically with freshly sliced black truffle. Unbeatable flavour combo!! The highlight of the meal was the fillet canet, seared perfectly with pinkish core, the little heart-shaped gnocchi prepared specially for ladies really won my heart, how cute it is! The dessert was top notch which was really memorable! The best quenelle of gelato I have ever had so far, permeates that perfect balance between wine and sweetness, made from Vecchio Samperi. It really marks the grand finale of this exquisite dinner in Tokyo!

All dishes, without exception, were highly creative and exceptional in taste. The chef of this recently opened restaurant managed to mix Italian flavors and dishes with Japanese items. The sommelier combined the dish with a good (sometimes surprisingly) choice of wine. Add a perfect service of the w...aiter and I know this restaurant is heading for stars and points!
