Tokyoh Oisuta Bar

A five to ten minute walk from Gotanda station Gotanda oyster bar has the corner at the intersection all to itself. If you get a seat in the second floor it's light and airy and very comfortable. First floor is fine also but more cramped. I'm not an oyster person but everything we had was delicious ...and well presented with attentive service overall. The New Zealand Chardonnay we had was delicious and reasonable as most of their bottle wines seemed to be. We also enjoyed their wagyu steak which was flavorful with a nice texture. Expect between five and ten thousand yen per person for dinner. Reservations do not seem necessary but I would recommend it if you are planning in advance. There's no English on the menus etc but I imagine some of the staff can speak basic English. If you like oysters you should be very satisfied.
