“Yakiniku with a fantastic view!”
Spectacular view at a good yakiniku restaurant. Jojoen is a chain yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo with many branches. We decided to choose this one in particular given the high floor (located on the 53/F of the Shinjuku Opera City) and the amazing view of the city. The complex where the restaurant i...s located in is right above the metro station and close proximity from the Shinjuku shopping area. We came here for lunch so we could enjoy the day time view of the city. The lunch sets are very reasonably priced and offers plenty of food. The pork menu surprisingly was better than the beef that we ordered. Also be sure that you secure a front row window seat!

“Go for the view and the experience.”
You grille your own food on a heated grate at your table. The restaurant was mostly local couples and some business groups. It was $70 for two of us with one drink, two meat/seafood, salad, and vegetable. Salad and vegetables were enough to split. They bring you the food and you grill it right a...t your table. The food cooks very quickly. they serve you ice cream and a cup of green tea for dessert . To order, you press the button at your table . View from the 53rd floor of Tokyo Opera building was lovely We enjoyed this as a different experience and really enjoyed the view. The food was fine, but nothing special.

“Excellent food, and atmosphere.”
We were able to get a table during dinner with no reservation. Seated with a window view, and overall had a great experience. The tasting menu we ordered, had some items that intimidated us at first, but after giving them a try, were very pleased with the result. If you are looking for a great BB...Q experience, try this place out.

“excellent food and view”
very nice view with nice food, suggest you to order one set plus side dishes if you go in 2 people. Everything is good from Appetiser. The table for 2 window seats are suggested to request when make booking.

“Nice food, can improve ambience”
The food was good, but the ambience needs some work. The staff are ok and not great. They could not find a decent table for us and we had to change table
